That blue collar upbringing never left him, and it shows up in every song he writes.
These days Joe leads The A.M. Drinkers — a band of old pros who play what you might call tavern rock: roughed-up alt country with roots in folk, blues, and five decades of lived experience.
His 2023 double EP Midwest Boy charted at #2 Alternative Country for seven weeks and was named one of the Top 20 Alt Country Records of 2023 by Roots Music Report, with features in Relix Magazine and WGN Radio.
Think Yer In Luv is his new full-length — ten songs about love, road trips, lemonade stands, Friday nights, and the quiet beauty of ordinary life. Out October 2, 2026 on Mr. Bridgeport Records.
